## HRD Corp claimable training

In-house AI training with Coach Khairul can be run as an HRD Corp Claimable Course for Malaysian employers who are registered with and contributing to HRD Corp. "Claimable" means the cost is paid from the employer's own accumulated levy, not from an additional government grant.

- Employers with 10 or more Malaysian employees must register with HRD Corp; the levy is 1% of employees' monthly wages. Employers with 5 to 9 Malaysian employees may register voluntarily at 0.5%.
- Effective 15 June 2026, an approved in-house training programme may only be conducted 14 days after the grant is approved, and must commence within 90 calendar days after that 14-day period ends. For public programmes the waiting period is 3 days from 15 June to 31 December 2026, reverting to the 14-day rule from 1 January 2027.
- HRD Corp advises employers to submit grant applications at least 15 days before the training date. In practice, employers should start the process three to four weeks before the intended training date.
- Training claims must be submitted within six months from the training completion date.
- Grant approval is HRD Corp's decision, not the training provider's. GigVenture supplies the programme outline, learning objectives, trainer profile and cost breakdown required for the employer's application.
- Coach Khairul is an HRD Corp Accredited Trainer, and Gig Venture Sdn. Bhd. is a registered HRD Corp Training Provider.
